Made famous by the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, our instrumental version of Sunny Side of the Street is taken from our Vocal version. The form and structure is based on the original Dorsey version, including the unique intro, where we have wrtten out the bass 'solo' and piano fills too. The lead Trumpet range in the last bar goes to a high F, but we've cued alternative notes which keep the range here to top C#. There are no sax doubles, and the brass ranges are moderate. The saxes take the 'vocal' chorus, backed by Trombones and Trumpets.
