Arguably the most famous number of the Charle Barnet Orchestra, Skyliner is a really punchy, up-tempo swinger, featuring a Piano intro, unison brass carrying the melodic line, with clarinet-led saxes over the top and later on a cracking Trombone soli. Both tenor sax parts are scored with the solo chords and the cameo trumpet solo can be taken by lead or second. Much requested, we're pleased to make it available.
