Wolverine Blues is an up tempo, bouncy swing chart from the Goodman band, featuring solos for Clarinet, Trombone, Trumpet and Tenor. These solos are written out in full, though your players can improvise from the chords provided too. The saxes are scored CAATT, thought we have included an extra Baritone part - a double of the Tenor 2 part - which allows one of your Tenor players to take the Clarinet lead part. This is a good chart for the swing dance crowds and it works equally well in a concert setting. There are no sax doubles.
