About Us / Arrangers / Wally Menard
Wally Menard first started arranging for big bands while still in college. He received his Bachelor of Music from DePaul University in Chicago.
He was band director in a Chicago suburb where he built a strong concert band program and then a jazz band which went on to take "Best of Class" awards at several Midwest jazz festivals including two consecutive years at the Oak Lawn Jazz Festival.
Concurrent with teaching, Wally was playing saxophone in several bands and combos on weekends in the Chicago area.
After ten years of teaching he moved to Michigan and entered the world of sales. He currently plays with several dance bands in the Kalamazoo area.
